Returning to Ohio for Another Beautiful Session

Last summer, I had the pleasure of returning to Ohio for a mini session with the Tarwater family. You see, I visit Ohio several times a year, capturing the essence of families and their special moments, and this family holds a special place in my heart. I shot their wedding a couple of years ago, and it’s always such a joy to see their journey through family photography.

Welcoming a New Member to the Family

Since I last visited them, the Tarwaters welcomed their adorable daughter Amelia into the world and are now expecting their second baby! How exciting is that? It was incredibly sweet to reconnect and document the growth of their family. During our session, Amelia quickly warmed up to me, and it was such a gift to capture her radiant smiles. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do—every click of the camera tells a story of love, connection, and joy.

The backdrop of our session was simply beautiful. The trees were adorned with rich greenery, illuminated by the warm glow of the setting sun. The lighting created an enchanting atmosphere that complemented the smiles and laughter of the Tarwater family perfectly. Amelia, in her bright spirit, was all about her mama and daddy, and it was heartwarming to see the love and bond they shared.

These family mini sessions are not just about the pictures; they are about preserving memories that can be looked back on in the years to come. Capturing the essence of a moment, especially as families grow and change, is something truly special.
